Surprise Cuts! Tracking A Transfer: Dallin Hall

Please excuse any typos - pushing a bit to get out before the 4th of July lull.

Ugh, and I agreed to take my daughter to the beach. Darn.

Okay, I’m going there… it’s Haney hot take time. The beach is annoying. Totally overrated.

And don’t give me that beeras nonsense. Beers taste best when you’re sitting around your table, quietly enjoying your favorite piece of filmed entertainment, not worrying that your (partial) Irish ass is burning to a crisp.

As with everything, it’s relative to whether a kid is with you.

Beach with young kids is a hard no. beach without young kids is :100:.

Pool is kind of the reverse though.

Anyone else having this issue? Are too many of us clamoring to read and crashing cuts’ site??

It’s probably the issue where you need to view from desktop mode on your phone.

Back from the beach (phew) and have read the offense. Thanks, as always, really good read.

Not too much reaction, tbh. He’s a solid distributor/facilitator. Decent at creating for himself. He’s a big dude for his position. Mostly, he just seems to fit well with the roster.

Haven’t read the defense yet, but his size seems like it will give us some versatility.

Watching some of the defense (and the offense) struck by the fact that Robert Wright III from Baylor is kinda replacing Hall at BYU

Edit- now read all of it. Learned a lot, b/c tbh, I didn’t watch a ton of Hall video unlike some of the other guys. Was pretty impressed with his decent physicality on the rebounding. I like your implication that his skills kinda leave space for Gertrude and Mallory to find a lane.

Agree. Hall might be the most ‘you know what you are getting’ of all the transfers. Not a bad thing.

Fresh having lived in Salvador Bahia Brasil is huge beach snob and unless you live ON the beach around here beach is awful

Having just spent 5 days on SSI this might be your worst take yet.

Kids 3&5 ran wild in and out of the ocean and dug 9000 holes in the sand. Were worn out and asleep by 730 every day.

Dragon went through a case or so of beers and has a money tan.

No notes just right.

Oh no, they got him. @BDragon is in the hands of Big Beach. What’d they pay you?

Will say, I saw a Lily Pad today, and those things are super cool.

Didnt have to pay me a dime. I’m a mid atlantic kid grew up doing to Nags Head/Hateras and Myrtle. Just moved the party further south in my adult years.

Beach is the easiest family vacay going. Pull up find a seat and nature does the rest.

Hate to admit this, but I’m kind of with @haney. I generally do not enjoy the beach. It’s hot, I have to constantly think about reapplying sunscreen because I am pale as hell, and dehydration ruins most of my enjoyment of alcoholic beverages there. The ocean is fun, and playing sports in the sand is fun, but eh.

That said, while I don’t like spending hours on the beach, a walk on the beach or a hike that includes passing along a beautiful beach are awesome (looking at you amazing Hawaii hikes). But just general full day on beach? No thank you.

(I reserve the right to change this sentiment when I take my daughter to the beach for the first time.)
