Still sitting at an amazing ratio of 1 two-point attempt to 49 three-point attempts in 11 games. He’s definitely there just to do one thing.
If there is a higher power, they were definitely looking out for Tony with Kaiser going to maryland. The Poor man’s Taine Murray thought the ample playing time at Maryland would mean faster route to the pros.
Have seen this name pop up in Trilly’s discord (not on the actual portal list) and on social media, looks like he got a brief mention here too about a month ago. 6’9, 240 lbs, built like a grown man, can handle the basketball, and has hit 40 3’s this season albeit on 119 attempts. Former Vandy commit who would have at least two years of eligibility left.
Was originally a tennessee commit. Would be funny if he transferred back there.
It was brought up originally here but at the time yearly transfers weren’t allowed (now its open season with the lawsuit LOL)
I kinda think Brandon Huntley-Hatfield should bounce back to Tennessee.
Also Belmont pretty much has a good transfer candidate each year. That coach must be doing something right there (and also probably getting fed up about losing guys haha).
Casey Alexander. Knew him some growing up. He is couple years younger and played at Brentwood Academy with Shawn Wilson
Also if Oregon opens up, Kwame Evans Jr? Probably no shot at all but I remember the talk being he refers to Williford as “Uncle”. Maybe Dunn going pro makes this a thing?
State of the Union: March 2nd 2024
We need players. I don’t give a shit who at this point. All 5 positions.
Signing off.
Liar
No i reall… Tucker Anderson, Ven Lubin, Trent Perry, and Jaemyn Brakefield
Paul Atreitdes is a false prophet and they are setting it up for the script to be flipt to his sister in the third or fourth movie right? Not a book reader. Definitely was better in Imax than Dolby
Anyways searched through Tucker Anderson’s mom’s retweets and likes (she’s a boys basketball coach) to see if she retweeted anything Tony Bennett since that’s a thing all the Midwestern small school coaches do and low and behold .
Kinda funny that was my first thought. Those motherfuckers love them a good Tony quote and photo tweet. All the time on Twitter when I come across a new coach 1 minute into scrolling their page, there’s Tony.
Edit:
Also this one
Just want to put it out there that even in the blowout loss, TJ Power didn’t really impress me all that much.
I believe @haney put it appropriately that Power needs to find a conference full of Rohdes and he would be a stud.
(and again man Rohde’s confidence is so shot he may need to find somewhere where he can regain that joy of basketball he had. Maybe back to St Thomas? Since transfer backs are a thing. Or a school that runs a style that more fits his game while also being back closer to home).
Power and Rohde to Iowa where they can roast each other all practice and build their confidence back up. ![]()
If by Iowa you mean Northern Iowa then yep.
Non jokingly that would be an incredible fit for them. And not just in an “exciting whites” kinda way.
Nah I really do think Rohde would thrive in Iowa scheme. Rohde’s two best games as a freshman were vs Utah and Creighton. On top of solid games vs Texas A&M and Cuse (and even the Florida game he was okay) as an underclassman adjusting to scheme. He’s just in that Casey Morsell mentally broken state lol. Kid was an 80% ft shooter on over 100 attempts and he’s now airballing a free throw? That’s rattled.
He needs a system that doesn’t value possessions as much and that lets him shoot off the dribble. He is limited in that he’s not someone who can ball out in any situation or scheme, but there are schemes where he can be really good even vs Power 5 competition.
Hahahaha at exciting whites. An oxymoron of sorts
The All Jimmer league
For all the love Jimmer gets, he is a hobo man’s version of Kyle Guy. Kyle Guy is who Jimmer Freddette wishes he was.
