That doesn’t stretch the floor.
He does some. Definitely a skillset that needs to grow but the floor is there on top of him being good in the midrange (like Mike Scott and Hunter).
Also just an underclassmen with a high ceiling so room to grow.
We dont need someone who is a one dimensional 4 man. Even a 32.4% from 3 is worth the upside (scoring unassisted, and roll of screens of back someone down in the post or face up a la hunter/Scott).

I do agree though that we need SOMEONE in the front court, starting or off the bench, who is a bonafide 3pt shooter.
And we lose groves and don’t really have that jumbo wing shooter who can slide down to the 4.

Garrett Johnson has been out several times this season with Injury. red flag possibly? (I know about his medical ailments)
Oh that’s a much more easier visual. I have been spending the entire year going through all the NCAA 3pt percentages and then finding the 6’7 or taller guys and then going to their game logs/clips for context

Johnson was also out for that game, and will continue to be out for the rest of the A10 Tournament as he continues to deal with hip issues stemming from the rare benign tumor that kept him out of basketball for two-and-a-half years.

The Torvik filters are helpful because you can select on any combination of stats, and he’s got pretty much all of the relevant ones.
Supposedly Gibson Jimerson still has another year of eligibility. Richmond native, went to St. Chris before transferring to Monteverde. St. Louis just fired Travis Ford. I was frankly surprised he stuck around at SLU as long as he has but gotta think he’ll enter the portal if he wants to use his 6th year. He just became the all time 3pt leader at SLU (granted in 5 years). Slight dip in his stats this year but his team stunk and he played > 35 mpg. Super productive career in the A10.

I’ll say I’m going to be skeptical that UVA admissions clears any 2x undergraduate transfer. It’s hard enough making credits work for a 1st-time transfer. Yes, I’m even skeptical for a 2-timer like Lubin who’s coming from two Top 25 universities in Notre Dame and Vanderbilt. (Grad transfers are obviously a different, easier deal.)
