NIL makes it in in Road to Glory mode. Create a player, pick a school and then you have to balance your time between studying, being with your teammates, working out, recovering and doing publicity (which can earn you NIL deals)
Road to Glory is kinda half-cooked, IMO. The AI play calling is awful and the gameplay that happens outside of playing the actual games is thin.
I kind of agree, but I kind of donāt.
I guess cadets do get a stipend each month. If they arenāt allowed to benefit from NIL then as a compromise maybe their Academy time should count towards TIS so theyāre retirement eligible 4 years earlier.
Yea I never took any classes on it in college or ever thought about it. Iām a Poli Sci major with a business minor. But went into coding and web design as a way to get into communications and marketing during the mid aughts. Uām all self taught but am nimble with basic PHP HTML and can manage basically any CMS/CRM/ECRM out there. Oddly enough I rarely use any of it nowadays working in politics and comms but itās nice to lend a hand to help out my team from time to time.
I made similar mistakes understanding how to budget my points and get the proper scouting in. So I had back to back thin classes. First year wasnāt bad second year when I should have done better it was awful. I was experimenting and have learned. The transfer portal honestly salvaged what little class I had
Got it at the start of my paternity leave (6 weeks ago). Itās now 2031 and UVa has 3 nattyās and 2 heisman trophy winners. I guess I should check on the kid.
Side note: crazy how Kurt Benkert has got semi famous being the CFB25/madden guy on YouTube.
Anyone else noticed that the āGOāā¦āHOOSā chant sounds absolutely cursed?
It does count for Academy gradsā¦ but only if you retire with 20 yearsā¦ they get credit for 24. Little known fact.
Interesting. But only if you hit 20 of active duty? You canāt do 16 but get credit for 20?
Havenāt played as much over the past week or two, the gameplay is pretty fun once you find a good slider set but the dynasty mode is disappointing overall. So many minor additions could have made it much better, and itās made even more frustrating by the fact that a lot of those āadditionsā were in NCAA 14 which came out a whole ass decade ago.
No. Unfortunately not.
Anybody who loses in a video game doesnāt save their game enough
Whatās the going rate on a ps4 trade-in if you donāt mind me asking, and did you go thru a Gamestop to do it?
I went through gamestop and got 189 for a ps4 and 2 controlers
Damn I might do the same then lol, got a ps4 and Xbox One that I donāt use anymore.
Yea once I realized that it was a no brainer. Youāll get good money for those
I just gave an XBox One away on a buy nothing site. I guess I gave that family a deal.
I fully condone this.
Do you gamers have a slider set that you like? Iāve been liking one that basically tones down the passing game effectiveness. And I think I like the sliders that are based on All-American difficulty, I tried some Heisman difficulty-based sets and itās been a little much for me.
We are in Year 2 in my digital UVA universe, 5-0 to start the year after squeaking out a one-score win on the road at Duke, surviving Maalik Murphy throwing for 400 yards. Recruiting has been good, had the #33 class after year 1 and have locked up 6 4-stars already for this season.
I need to play with the sliders on mine. I havenāt taken the time yet but something needs to adjust with the passing situation.
Iām currently in yr 4 still hunting our first Nati after a few self inflicted wounds in the playoffs the last 2 yrs.
