Because it’s only been a couple of weeks, they were focused on Warley, Perry, and multiple front court guys up until literally just a few days ago, and they’re not just going to desperation grab the first transfer guard who picks up the phone.
There are plenty of good transfer guards still in the Portal and uncommitted, frankly I’d rather the staff take their time and find the right fit, in terms of skill set, class spacing, and locker room presence. With only one spot to fill, they can be selective and let things play out over the rest of the month, especially since summer session and practices don’t start until June.

Awful news assuming true. Such terrible luck. Re the portal, it’s still been crickets on Dai Dai Ames. Kind of weird.

No, I agree with you. I was just thinking that the fact that they have known – coupled with HGN saying we are finished – makes me think this is not as serious a situation as everyone is assuming it is. I don’t think there was ever going to be a desperation grab unless it was sudden, and they needed to react quickly.

UVA Fans group has a collectively worse IQ in my opinion. I only really like one sports group on FB - ACC Sports Talk. Generally knowledgeable fans and can interact with fans from other teams which can be interesting at times. Plus during rivalry week they drop the no trolling rule and some funny smack talk / memes take place

ACC Sports Talk used to be a regular check in for me, good group. Since LRA I don’t get the chance to browse around though…used to check in at the sabre and cavs corner just about every day like a lot of you probably do.
