I’m telling y’all this guy is Anthony Gill with a 3 point shot.

Just so happened to read this comment on Reddit about Saunders.

About as good of an endorsement as you’re gonna see.

Schieff is 6-10. Elijah is about 6-6.

I think he’s 6-8, maybe you’re confusing him with PJ Hall?

Not sure where you’re getting those heights. Both are listed as 6’8

Just watching video of him and comparing to other players. He is not 6-8.

his dad played college ball and is listed as 6-6, he’s taller than his dad.

Jordan Minor was listed at 6-8. Do you believe that number now?

When you see something like 6.5 ppg keep in mind that he played directly beside Ledee. Ledee averaged roughly 20 ppg and was the focal point of the offense; not going to be remotely the same for him this season.

I don’t know about the difference in height, but I did say Schieffelin is a better rebounder, but Saunders is like him in that he does a lot of different things for the team. I stand by the statement that he is far more athletic than Schieffelin and has a higher ceiling.

I’m curious about how his shot diet will (or won’t) change with the change in team. He shot a lot of threes and was fairly low usage, but as @wahoobelinda points out, he played next to a high usage star in Ledee for 80% of his possessions. The tape has a lot of trail 3s, pick and pop 3s, and spot up 3s, but the couple of clips where he gets rolling towards the rim look really good. I wonder if he can do a little more if asked to.

I find watching video to be a better calibration than trusting inflated numbers. Wilkins was listed at 6-8, he is 6-6 at best. It’s SOP to add 2 inches to a true height. Happens everywhere.

So, then, the actual height doesn’t really matter if everyone is consistently fudging the numbers the same direction. It’s just the relative height compared to what others are listed.

Unless you’re saying Scheifflen is fudging it less than Saunders?

He said Scheifflen is 6’10 so the camera is actually adding two inches for him. Lucky guy!

Watched a good amount of tape last night. I think he’s about 6’7” and he has decently long arms. He’s Braxton-esque. I don’t think his size will be a problem

Hahahha. Pro move split the difference and 6-7 it is!
