Fiction. Tony always pitched defense as a development. Don’t think he was recruiting guards solely because of their defensive sliding. Otherwise he would have never offered Brice Sensabaugh or Trevor Keels. You think Tony went after Jerome and Guy cause they were lockdown defenders?
Fact or Fiction: We struggled post natty not because of Tony’s stubbornness in his way but because of his inability to assemble a roster that could truly realize Tony’s way (complete guards and athletic defensive versatile 4 men together on the same roster)

Faction / Fict. You’re saying the same thing. Tony couldn’t assemble the roster he needed BECAUSE OF his stubbornness.
Will re-up mine from above. Fact or Fiction. We win a tourney game in the next 3 seasons (this and the next two). (For comparison, Tony won his first in year 5)
Fact: we win 2 games in the ‘27 NCAA.
Fact or Fiction: Will Wade at Miami ends our run in the S16 and goes to the F4 with Miami that year.
