I wonder if actual employment falls under legit 3rd party NIL. A private business owner could fairly easily justify a summer job or part time job for whatever salary and the business owner doesn’t have to answer to shareholders.

I haven’t kept up with things but Richardson has taken a bunch of these early official visits last fall, so people might be reading too much into it, at least for now. I remember bringing it up last summer though, Griff kept coming to his games so I do think UVA might be considerably higher on him than the field.
No clue if he wants to reclass but I don’t think that should matter. He’s not the kind of guy you could count on for next year, few are in that position. Probably not something that would be decided until this summer, if so. And truthfully UVA’s interest in him will probably be dependent on how he plays in spring too. Gotta remember, Odom has never really had early commitments. He likes to make them prove themselves as long as possible before pushing.
