Not the overalls. The bet youāve never seen him like this with a wonky face. Just strange for a probably 23-24 year old to make about a 17 year old imo. Maybe Iām just more cynical than people in rural Kentucky though
This is a more serious topic / treatment than belongs on a hoops forum, but yes, of course, itās weird. Imagine a 25 year old male TV reporter who found a 17-year old female athlete he covered at another sporting event wearing the equivalent female outfit and then posting something on Twitter making the outfit the prominent point of the tweet. That would be weird. But, yāknow, life is weird. Iām weird. Weāre all weird. I wouldnāt have made the tweet, but I donāt really make any tweets, so there you go.

Heās a 5* basketball recruit and a bit of an in state celeb that probably doesnāt wear overalls all that often in a state full of farm kids that do. Farm kids, many of whom are gonna live and die on that farm while Reed might go on to who knows what level of fame and stardom.
All I think sheās saying is āthis soon to be superstar is one of us.ā Nothing more. And no, if it was a female athlete wearing something related to a common local lifestyle that she doesnāt normally wear, there wouldnāt be anything wrong with mentioning that either.
Todayās UVA fans never fail to make it even harder to believe the pep band was actually allowed to exist (and entertain shit tons of UVA fans with high quality humor in the process.)
