I believe Terry Kirby played both football and basketball, as well – although he was a less critical piece of the basketball team than Blundin.

There were a few lacrosse and football players. Andrew Dausch was one and Kerney came as a lacrosse player but was just too good at football to stick with lacrosse.

He hooped for his first two years. He is a guy that whatever sport he wanted to be all in on he would likely be a pro. He was all in on football but lotta fun on the hoop team for couple years as well

73, your mention of the football lineman who also played basketball during your era likely is Big John Naponick. He was from western Pennsylvania and had a brother who also was a two-sport athlete at Pitt.

I remember well the one we didn’t get. Ron Curry never amounted to the hype. At least it wasn’t with us. He did play some in the NFL but how he was so highly ranked in basketball I’ll never know

Since he’s visiting soon, clips of George Washington from Peach Jam against that CP3 team with GG Jackson and Jaylen Curry (with fitting background music). Most similar player to Kyle Guy that we are recruiting in terms of body movement I think if you are one for player comparisons (Reed Sheppard = Ty Jerome, McKneely = Darius Thompson with a 3pt shot, Carson McCorkle = 6’2 Larry Bird, Taine Murray = hybrid of Grayson Allen and Joe Harris)
