We got our first transfer commit on the board.
Three star out of HS, played in the Elite 11. Pretty highly touted but was gonna be behind Raiola at Nebraska so he transferred out. Supposedly the plan here is to bring in two QB’s, he’ll sit behind whatever one year starter we land and then take over in 2026.

Third team All-ACC two years ago where he had 4 INT’s. Not sure what happened this past season but am excited about this one.

A young QB and a former all-ACC performer? Awesome. I honestly don’t know how we’re getting anybody at all ($$ and playing time?) but grateful for every commit we can get.

I wouldn’t be surprised by another QB transfer commit (nothing in the wings currently). Obviously need bodies but I mean a starter level type.
LOVE getting Neal from Louisville. Defense needs veteran skilled players and he checks both boxes. Good start to portal haul.

I know Nebraska fans were really high on Kaelin, so am very interested to see how he looks here. From what I remember the scouting report on him is great accuracy, extremely smart, ok athlete and not a super strong arm. 247 scout gave him Kirk Cousins as an NFL comp.

First team All-MAC this past season. I like the caliber of players we’ve been getting visits from so far, this should be our wheelhouse.

I mean I don’t know lol, I think the thought process is likely that even if he does have to sit behind another QB that we bring in it’ll only be for one year, whereas at Nebraska he was gonna be behind Raiola for at least two.

Forgot to add them earlier, but these are two RB’s I really hope we take a long look at. Both might end up a little above our paygrade but there’s only one way to find that out.

Redshirted after four games to retain a year of eligibility.
Should add that the last Louisville transfer DB we took (Johnson) was pretty damned good.
