I mean surely it was $$$. He’s unlikely to make an NFL roster so get a grad degree and make some decent money before having to get a real job. I’m sure Mom saw the wisdom of that real quick.

Would have to imagine yes. Better question is would he still consider us. We’re also hosting Kevin Wigenton from Illinois today who would be a solid depth option inside with potential to earn a starting spot.

We’re getting close to coming full circle with commitment announcements. From 12 years ago when players didn’t care about social media so someone in their circle just passed along the news to an ESPN reporter who posted a simple tweet, followed by a short story. Now to today when players are above the hoorah of it all so they just let their agents leak to various reporters.
