I hope not, not against Reed, nor the Illinois kid. Just that any more OL we should add should be young developmental depth.
Seven of our potential top 8 next season will be in (ostensibly) their last season of eligibility: Metcalf, Sipe, Wyatt, Brady Wilson, Boley, Josey, and Witmer. (Exception is Steen, who will be a RS junior). Yes those last three do technically have another year due to the shooting tragedy waivers, but hard to bank on that.
Conversely, we only have seven OL total in the pipeline across our bottom three classes (rising RS Sophs, RS Frosh, and incoming first years), would love use remaining transfer scholarships to add young bodies to that pipeline.

He really came on at the end of the year, had three sacks in UNLVās bowl game against Cal. And he should have two years of eligibility left.
Would like to see him put on a bit more weight but heās long and athletic with a good first step. The kinda guy weāve really been missing over the past couple of years at DE.

Needs #1 and #2 addressed. Give us a young depth OL and a DB and the off-season achieves Nirvana-like perfection.
Edit - From a roster standpoint, I mean. Finding a competent OC is still a need.

If the right guy is out there, awesome, but otherwise I could see that being a post-spring focus. Maybe guys who are playing under a new OC or position coach they wind up not liking after spring practices?
