Another big bodied WR with proven P4 production, should be a nice fit. Supposed to be a good run blocker too which is an undervalued quality in WR’s.

Don’t think I realized Chad Morris and Tony Elliott were on the Clemson offensive staff together 2011-2014, Elliott coaching the backs with Morris as the OC/QBC.

Morris went the HC route, mediocre at SMU before crashing and burning at Arkansas, but has been middling around in analyst and position coach roles the last few years.

Neal and Prevard are both good gets. Agree that we definitely need to add more in the spring. Also expect that Costner will play as a true freshman. Maybe Spence too though I wish he was an early enrollee.

The fact we’ve added so much to other position groups tells me that the staff either likes some of the guys we already have better than we realize or that they haven’t liked what they’ve seen in the portal. We’ve definitely missed on a few guys too but given how well we’ve closed on other guys, I wonder how hard we pushed for the guys we missed on. Surprised we couldn’t get Fred Davis.

Morris was the hottest OC in the country when he was at Clem. Then defenses adjusted and his scheme became nothing special. And being a HC is a different deal. We have seen that up close. Fingers crossed on Tony plus bag.
