Saying if our defense was better, we would’ve been close to winning games isn’t realistic.
I’ll give you that with a couple breaks against Pitt and not being stupid against VT we could’ve won those. And then we could’ve beaten that Wake team that Pitt blew out (not the Wake team we lost to earlier). And then we might be favored against that Michigan State team with no pass defense (but good luck to our D trying to stop their RB).
“expected”…“should be”.

Hugely this. Elliott HC + Dex DC = huge win all around.
Things go well, Elliott moves to a bigger job in 4-5 years, Dex goes to HC and we build a statue to Carla.
