Latrell Allmond should probably be a consensus 5 star and will probably get there eventually this summer, being a tweener be damned. Especially with how well his 3pt shot has looked on top of everything else.

Weāll see who gets the blue blood boost out of this week. This is the time when Duke and Kentucky start to figure out who they really want. Iāll be curious to see who jumps in for Latrell Allmond, UNC might be one to watch there. Deron Rippey too but I already assume heās a longshot for UVA.
Who comes out of it more of a priority to UVA? Philly wing Luca Foster had a really good week, so did guard Junior County (UT) Itās not like those guys arenāt already in high demand though.
And will there be any new offers? With the setup there, itās hard to tell who Odom was eyeing. Forward Billy White (TX) seemed to have a good week. Guard Bryson Howard (TX) and wing Colben Landrew (GA) are going to come out even hotter names than before.

Just scanning rosters, is Tarris Bouie someone they would be interested in? Heās from Charlotte (though headed to Ohio to play at Spire) and there donāt seem to be a ton of wing targets, I think.

Iām not terribly optimistic about our chances but I wouldnāt read much into not being mentioned there.
In the modern age of the transfer portal, how firm are any commitments until the spring when prospects get a chance to see where the elite transfers are signing?

Just going off memory, there werenāt a ton of high profile late cycle recruits this season. Ament, Adams, a couple guys that were coaching change decommits.

I found this thread interesting. Basically Cal taking this guy, giving him a roster spot and $$$, to get in good with a powerful Euro agent/coach. Cal seeing the increasing long term value of international prospects (based on this past cycle) going forward and postioning himself accordingly.
