With you
100% success rate against McCaffrey brothers.
I think his injury put him a bit behind on figuring bout what he can get get away with at this level. Still bullish over the long term

Good take from @Cuts_from_The_Corner here. Chance had some early success and then felt himself a bit too much. Hall having foul trouble, fewer minutes, and not being that effective when he did, definitely contributed to our raggedness.
Will be a good learning experience for Chance, especially if he learns from it. I donāt learn anything personally, but it is possible for others.
My Steelers lost at like the same time this game ended so itās honestly shocking I didnāt fire off some of the most negative posts this board has ever seen lol
The backdowns make me really nervous. I feel like it looks really out of control and its sooooo slow and burns so much of the shot clock on something that I donāt think has a very high expected value.
Tillis-TDR-Center was not really a lineup combo I was expecting.
I do the JBDRAGON show here on LRA talking Virginia football. Weāre live on Tuesday night at 9pm ET and available on Spotify or wherever you listen to your pods.
I feel ya but remember it canāt be as bad as being a Vikings fan right now. You have arod coming back and probably back next year too. JJ McCarthy has ruined my Sundays and there is no hope in sightā¦. Sigh
At least you two arenāt a Dolphins fanā¦
Yeah @MatoacaGump, @UVApride7 may have us beat haha
There is a reason I donāt get on message boards during games LOL
It happens. Need to figure out ball screen defense. Butler played hard. Weāll get better. Onto Queens!
Tony Bennett
āHard Hedgeā

Itās still Death to the Hard Hedge till I die. Donāt think we are athletic enough to Houston blitz on the screens and trap
I donāt think we are either, but the hard hedge is the time-honored solution for āgoddamnit the ballhandler is getting into the paint on every high ball screenā
A soft/flat hedge might be worth exploring. No coverage is going to be good if our guards are consistently dying on screens.
Take out preseason assumptions and Hoos are 31st in Torvik (we were 7th before Northwestern). Butler is now 29th (I think theyāll be a bubble team at worst).
Every top 25 team has this expectation.
Interestingly, both Northwestern and Butler hard-hedged our screens, and we had trouble dealing with it.
I had to listen to the game on the radio. It sounded like we played with a lot of heart, but maybe execution wasnāt quite there. The radio guy said we were playing too much 1-on-1 rather than team ball. I hope to be able to watch a replay but CBS sports sucks for replays.
Did you really think your fellow posters would be Top 15 commenters already, 6 games into the season with a new team? It takes some time for the groupthink to gel. If you expected weād all be on the same page right out of the gates, thatās on you.
Iām in mid season form** because Iām out here getting up shots in July. Waiting for the rest of you to catch up.
** which isnāt good, but still, itās mid season form
