I think Dixon or Mallory + random intriguing wing from NZ or Australia is the most likely scenario.
And frankly, that’s fine.
You forgot to include the correct option in both polls: nobody.
Something else to consider: do these polls apply to the early signing period, or the early signing period + the spring signing period? Even if Virginia uses both currently available scholarships this fall, given the nature of the transfer portal, how likely will it be that there’s another opening come April? Does the staff keep on pursuing uncommitted targets even if all the scholies are gone, for the moment? If (a highly speculative “if”) the transfer portal is reducing the concern of recruits that there might not be a scholarship available at the primary choices if they wait, how many elite prospects will postpone their decision until spring? And, in a related matter, how many coaches will recruit over the limit in the fall in anticipation of transfers come April? It’s seems like it might be a brave new world in college basketball.
Did HGN just cancel the rest of summer?

I’m sure if they can, they’d love to close. Feel like any OV for a player with a commit-able offer is in that boat. But HGN has said that won’t happen. Think the situation is different with Mallory and Dixon. Those two guards have been recruited for a while. Gonna try to close on them in the next calendar month ish.
