Was kinda a miracle Vandross even got a UVA visit on schedule/booted ND’s visit. I remember @HoozGotNext basically saying Jemison recruitment was over once we got Power and Saunders but if he ever made it to grounds we woulda had a chance. Womp.

Jemison is on a real short list of recruits I can remember UVA trying really hard for early and never even getting to visit. They liked him a lot, and tried and just never got anywhere. By June, TB had written him off. But O kept trying and TB even came around for him a little again in July. They seemed to think there was at least legit hope once he set the visit. Still though it was at best just hope that there was hope kinda thing.
The list of recruits TB left town to visit year over year, fall to fall, in how many ever years he’s been here…Braxton Key London Jemison. That’s the list. Somewhat similar recruitments too. Guys we tried for, gave up on, then somehow got named a finalist for and tried again. Neither ever visited.
