Also looking at Instagram looks like Anthony Robinson is also at DMV Live watching his bro on Zymicah’s team.
@zh00s need you to link up with him and leak the jpj practice clips

We weren’t getting him, anyway.
Maybe related to how Duke feels about Ament?
That would be cool.
Could be. Only one Duke assistant there Friday.
And yeah, i saw Robinson was there yesterday on IG but had to be at a kids birthday party. Incredibly lame.
Dixon plays twice today, 2nd game at noon. Cam Ward also plays at 12, then again at 2:20. Sanchez is up there too. He’s been Bennett’s wing man most of the weekend.
I think this is pretty much the list for Cam Ward. Last game of the weekend.
Shaw throws out the Trey Murphy comparison for 2026 Michael Phillips.
Johnny Carpenter was reported watching 2026 Cody Peck a couple times…from the description, he sounds like the kind of agile big man UVA loves.
Long and bouncy:

Plays for the Garner Road AAU team that McCorkle and Shedrick came out of.
We should get some strong endorsements out of that program
Well, yeah there’s that too.
Side note, one thing in that write-up of Peck that bothers me is how we (the royal we) try to turn every athletic big man into a potential stretch forward/big wing:
Naturally, the 6-foot-10 sophomore is a long-strider. He changes ends quickly and fills the lanes in transition with a purpose. He has touch on his handle and can be a threat to push in the open floor. But that is an aspect he will need to tighten. He has shown the ability to attack a sloppy closeout in straight lines, but his handle is currently in its beginning stages. I would like to see him develop his ability to attack his comfortable spots in the half-court, especially off two and three dribbles into pull-ups.
But there are signs of the beginning stages of a handle. The jump shot could also be something that develops into a weapon long-term. This season, Peck shot 45.0 percent from three. It was on less than one attempt per game, but the construct of his team did not ask him to often stretch the floor.
Without commenting on Peck’s specific pro prospects, you often see these kind of comments around guys who are long, fluid big men, where people try to imagine them developing into the next KD. But outside of the superstars, the big men who stick in the league are good screen setters who can make a good pass if they roll into a 4-on-3 situation or are quarterbacking a handoff with a guard, and are mobile enough to not die on an island switching onto a perimeter playmaker.
Williford reminds me of that Blackwell kid on Wisconsin.
Wisconsin was Blackwell’s only power 5 offer out of his and he was really not a point or even combo guard at 6’3/6’4 yet he was better than every player on our team outside Reece in our match up as a true freshman and was all B1G freshmen team
A terrible thought but something to consider is that Austin would be a solid assurance as a preferred walk on if Gertrude never gets back to 100%. But of course am going to be manifesting Gertrude back to 100%.
Yeah, its a shame. He’s come together really nicely as a player now that he’s maybe starting to hit volume 3s, and he’s a pretty good defensive player. Its been joked for a while that he’s Chance’s defensive caddy.
If he was 3-4" taller, the world would be his oyster.
Late cycle recruit once the 2025-26 roster is more known? Though for real AWilly should just go to Vermont* and try to ball out on a consistently winning mid-major team, high major programs will come knocking later if he does.
*Opinions colored by spending a couple days near-ish Burlington last month and getting charmed by all the little villages in the area.
Looks like VT is gonna land Christian Gurdak.
Several years ago I played against Garner Road with my AAU team out of Salem, VA, and out of the 20 or so tournaments we played in, they were the best team we played and it wasn’t even close. One of those games that makes you realize you should probably just focus on school.
Omari Witherspoon had another strong weekend. If Tony watched him Sunday, he saw Omari at Philly Live drop 27 points on 10-17 fg, 4 assists to 0 to, and 3 steals.
I wonder if he is on offer watch.

Big guard. Also surprised he was under the radar even though he was first team WCAC as a Jr.
Didn’t even have a 247 page until recent and has picked up WVU, Butler, Hokies, Xavier, and Vandy offers in the last few weeks.
