I think @Hooandtrue is saying successor in terms of being a big guard who can play next to another point guard, rather than playing exactly like IMac. And I think in an ideal world, the staff would want IMac to have a little more playmaking/ball-handling to his game.
That makes sense. Canât wait to see Bliss shoot the rock this season like McKneely - that would get him some serious PTâŚLFG!!!
Last weekend was the last live weekend
Cost of living and taxes wouldâve ate his ass up in La
Got it. Where is Dillan Shawâs offer?
Connecticut and California tax burden are nearly identical. The Kentucky offer was better than both of them financially, but I understand not wanting to live the laker/wildcat HC life.
I think my point still stands that they hit the lottery in terms of quality of coach:price ratio.
I think Sam is correct but also until agents start accepting âI dealt with someone else on your behalfâ fees and stop accepting âI had to pound the pavement to get you a thousand dollars from the local pizza placeâ fees, then the conversation is a bit stilted. (TLDR - those agents are greedy f***s)
Because we had to get to âpay the playersâ through this asinine NIL system, the market will have abnormalities for a while, and the people who benefit from the abnormalities wonât let those abnormalities go easily⌠(just like coaches didnât want to let the market abnormality they benefited from go easily either)
I guess I could go all âlet them fightâ gif on coaches v NIL agents but I donât really know who benefits from all thisâŚ
TLDR - NIL is an extremely dumb system that may wind up a footnote but will also affect things (IMO, poorly) for a while.
Meta note from on one hand, on the other gobbledygook Haney - I put this in recruiting because the genesis is recruiting talk, but got into a tangent on NIL.
Iâm torn on this one. Anything more than 7 should not count as worthy of an announcement. I stand by that. But Cam did have a lot of offersâŚhe trimmed 13 high majors according to what was reported on verbal commits.
Literally was coming to post here when I saw your tweet âIs a top 10 really a list cut? But I guess it makes sense to tell all the other schools stop texting meâ.
Reportedly, Moses Malone would hide under his bed to avoid recruiters. I think he had his mother tell those at the door that he wasnât at home. Twitter/Instagram may be a more effective means of deflecting unwanted attention.
I bet he found Lefty Driesell under there waiting for him at least once . . .
Well, he did commit to Maryland before opting for the ABA.
Are we trying for another visit (unofficial I assume)?
When did Ament start getting listed at 6â10"?? The taller he gets the worse I feel about landing him.
Completely forgot his older brother also transferred to Butler for his later year (the one who was vocal about verbal abuse from Iowa fans).
