Side note, I do like that On3 is clear about the stated goal of their rankings:
Our goal is to assess a prospectâs long-term potential, ultimately manifested by the NBA Draft. The goal of the ranking is not to assess who had the best high school career or who will be the best college player. This is why we will shoot to end each cycle with 14 five-star prospects following the lead of the NBA Draft Lottery. The vision is draft night.
I suspect most rankings have a similar focus but arenât so clear about them.

That sounds like medium term. Long term would be âour goal is to assess who will be schooling the young-uns on playgrounds well into their 50s abd 60s.â

I think we get one of Dixon/Tillery/Mallory but strike out on Ament and the rest of our current wing targets. Probably get someone else with a late offer (maybe a reclass) and then use any remaining scholarships on the transfer portal.

Heck of a pick up for MarquetteâŚPhillips had just started to get popular as a 2026 recruit.
Iâm interested to see what Marquette does from here. Theyâre technically booked for 2025.

Stevens fell off some this summerâŚseemed to be a matter of whether Marquette or Villanova would take him. UVA isnât involved.
Cam Ward did an official to Marquette in June. Thatâs the only way itâs maybe a little relevant for UVA.

Not sure theyâve offered Singleton (checking)âŚbut I mentioned him a lot last month, they saw him several times. And he got really popular, all those offers are new.
Five visits set, not to UVA. I think weâre more than likely window dressing, at best leaving the window open in case.
