Anyone think Powerâs first hand experience with Duke might be helpful with Ament? I would certainly make Power his host during the visit. Would be very interesting to know if the staff garnered any insight from Power about Dukeâs recruiting tactics that could help down the road.
Well, we got Murphy there in one year. And I know he was a transfer, but as a transfer, he was not Nate Ament either. To me he is kinda the blueprint to point to for a Tony Bennett OAD.
Agreed. I also think Ament would be playing a very similar role as Murphy
No. Unless his feedback is like, they promised to pay me, but didnât.
What if he said he was forced to participate in cult like activities and dumb Tik Tok videos? I dunno that could sway it
Nah. They advertise that part.
After deep contemplation of the above discussion, my analysis yielded this conclusionâŠ.
Yes. When the coach says I got your back just run
When your coach looks like fire marshal bill, donât go there in the first place.
If the scholarship limit is raised to 15, which has been reported as being in the works, when is the earliest it could go into effect? Could Coach Smart just be anticipating that it will be in place by the time the '25 class matriculates?
Scholarships are within a few years (maybe less) of being a rounding error on the NIL numbers anyway, right?
Donât have a sub but the guy on the right of the picture looks familiar.
This year Chance Mallory averaged 26.0 points on 51 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent from three. The 5-foot-9 point guard opened eyes with his tough-minded play, ability to score in traffic, and his deep, deep three-point shooting range. Mallory has a shifty handle with excellent balance and body control. He also pulls gravity once he crosses half-court, pulling the defense out because of his threat to knock down shots from the hash mark. This summer with Team Thrill on the UAA Next Circuit, Mallory averaged 20.4 points while shooting 36.2 percent from three and 83.7 percent from the free-throw line. There were some electric moments this summer with his confidence.
Glad we got left out bc of that haircut alone
The Waltons. Nelson countyâs most famous family.
My family is from Schuyler. My Grandparents place was right across the road from Earl Hamnerâs parents place. Hamner wrote Spencers Mountain which became the TV series The Waltons. I spent my summers in the early seventies with my grandparents. The show came out in 72 I believe.Neat time to be a part of the Schuyler community.
Love that. When I was in HS Kami Cottler the woman who played the daughter on the show was a teacher at NCHS after visiting Nelson for a reunion show she loved it and moved her family there.
Pretty cool. I bet Gabe Kaplan wouldnât go back to Brooklyn to teach the real life Sweathogs.
