I wonder if Jacob Ross pops up on staff’s radar? He’s been playing well at the scholastic event and picked up an offer from Kansas St. He’s on Nate Ament’s HS team now (Highland) so Tony watched him twice today as well. Younger brother of Jayden Ross who is at UConn.
Was previously on LuHi (Ryan Dunn’s HS before he did the postgrad at Perkiomen). Even if he ever popped up on radar, doubt he would get an offer at the end of the day.

Ward is taking an official to Marquette starting Monday, so it’ll be right after that. He’s already had officials to FSU and Notre Dame.
UVA offered but never really did anything with him until now. Seems to be a pretty open recruitment, I guess that’s the point.

How is his shooting? EYBL stats show him at 2-21 from 3 and a 69% FT shooter. Think I remember him being a really good athlete and defender but the shooting numbers scare me a bit if he’s viewed as a big wing.

What is he positionally? His stats don’t have a whole lot of shooting range to them, but it looks like he’s pretty effective inside the arc.

Could argue Justin Anderson. He was the highest rated kid according to Rivals. Others in contention from that class would be Andrew White and Jerami Grant. Anderson and Grant were definitely better than White (even removing hindsight bias). Probably a pick em between those 2.

Went to the UNC board (havent gone board surfing in ages) and saw UNC is now talking with Zymicah… Their fans also bring up the Eric Dixon/Naz Reid player comp for him
Also interesting is that Duke fans are unsure how hard Duke is recruiting Ament and how interested Ament is in Duke now… of course with this is mind Ament will go ahead and commit to Duke on Monday
They offered a few other top 20 wing guard, including one from Texas recently they might prefer, and there is still roster clutter/Isaiah Evans and Kon.
