Hoos Going Pro 2022-23 NBA Season

100% I’m sure Nola will take what they are getting from Zion right now. Sure they want him healthy but he’s given enough hope and stats to keep the franchise moving.

For sure. Got to remember after losing AD, and even with AD Nola was basically left for dead and ignored. Zion brings a buzz that is putting butts in seats at the very least.

Dam already forgot AD was there

So in response to the Ty 18 minutes a game, do we think he’s going to get a contract at some point so he can play in the playoffs or are they likely going to leave it as is?

I thought with the Payton deal Ty would be in trouble but I only just saw the injury stuff so maybe Ty gets the contract after all.

What was the final ruling on the Payton deal? Did the Warriors get him?

I think they will get him, but details are still up in the air. Apparently he’s going to be out for longer. It has been a confusing situation.

Okay I saw he had the injury situation and there was debate if the trade would go through. If Payton can’t go, or if the Warriors are worried about him I imagine Ty gets that last roster spot. But at this point the Warriors just have to worry about making the play-in not making a post season run.

Ty only has 15 games he can play under his two way contract. If GP is truly going to be a couple of months and Steph’s injury lingers, I would imagine they will convert him as they will need him to play a role in trying to make the playoffs.

Also Houston is paying Ty…and a lot of other guys big bucks…who aren’t on their roster…

Even more confusing is they somehow managed to bring Wall back for a 2nd run after buying him out in Aug.
