If theyâre running it back with the core 3, Wiggins, and Looney, you have to get something back for Poole, Kuminga, and Moody.
Ty sticking around on a vet minimum would be a nice way to fill out the roster.

Dray needs a new contract too. Poole needs to go and they prob need to restructure Klay if they want to keep the core 3 together.

Dubs got some serious roster reconstruction ahead of them. @Tpain is right Dray and Klay likely need to take less/restructure their deals if they want to keep them. The Poole contract is just an ugly ball and chain. Moving him isnât impossible, but itâs going to take some work.

Didnât Poole just have one off-year? Maybe too early to try and move him, esp given the contract makes him close to unmoveable (so the prices would be steep).

Yes, but I think you could counter with he also had one on year and thatâs what led to the contract. In the end, I think your thoughts about his contract and the price to move him are accurate. Iâm not sure how you get that done without taking a hit.

Arguably this season wasnât too far off his stats from last year that earned him the contract - and prior to last year (his first two seasons) he was up and down btw the G League.
He got paid because of a small sample size during his championship run. And probably had to do a lot with not wanting to be left without a scorer if Steph continues to have health issuesâŚ

He just seems like more of a luxury player for them, instant offense off the bench but not a great ball handler or decision maker. Maybe he will improve but the dubs have a pretty short window now. They might have to part with their 1st round pick to move him and try to take back some short term contracts. The real disaster by the dubs was taking Wiseman. Imagine if they had Lamelo or Halliburton instead, then they never make the mistake of overpaying Poole.
