Iâm sure Iâve said this before, but the kid is 17. If nothing else x this has to make the poor HS kids trying to compete with him last year and getting utterly annihilated feel a little better.

For the womenâs Olympic team, 5 of the 26 are current or former Hoos. Basically 20% of the team!

Tune in at 9:30 tonight to watch NCAA champion Shane Cohen in the senifinals of the Olympic trials, he looked phenomenal with a wicked kick and sub 1:45 800m at NCAAs. Could kick himself into the Olympics if he can make it to the finals.
Uva has had 8-10 athletes competing in finals wearing their VIRGINIA jerseys, been great to see the brand presence at the Olympic trials.

Of course Iâm rooting for USA in these Olympics but a South Sudan exhibition game win would be pretty cool. First Olympics in basketball, only became a country 13 years ago, playing the most talented team in the world by an huge margin.Also might jolt the USA a bit. Need to wake up.

I said if a guy gives UVA a minimum of two years, is a good teammate with good work ethic while here, and handles his departure above board with Tony, then Iâll root for him down the line. Sometimes a guy just isnât a fit, whether for Tonyâs schemes or just isnât an ACC-level talent after all.
I am willing to go against that if they went to another ACC school, of course, though honestly I was fine with Casey at NC State by the end.

Just realized Tobey didnât make the final Slovenia roster with Luka again this year. Kind of surprising after his great showing in Tokyo. Maybe a health thing, or even maybe a ârestrictions on naturalized playersâ thing?
