I’m here for this. Though if they use the FIBA 3x3 rules, those Big3 guys are gonna be gassed lol. Big3 does a checked ball after scores and FIBA is just go-go-go regardless of a score or a miss.
Big3 money Big3 rules. Plus doesn’t that mean no fouls?
Big3 has fouls, they have different rules on free throws; I learned today that the Big3 gets a little wacky:
A shooting foul awards one free throw, worth the same number of points as the fouled shot. Two-point shots are taken from the free throw line, three-point shots from the three-point line, four-point shots from the midline four-point circle. The free throw is awarded whether or not the fouled shot hits the basket.
Okay I remember watching games when they started and it seemed like guys were wrestling in the paint. I also recall Charles Oakley was playing so that may have had something to do with it.
I think I like that rule. Foul shots on 3pointers are taking from the 3pt line.
Big3 bankrolls duke?
That 1500 race was awesome. Norwegian pushed the pace early, and four guys go under the previous Olympic record. That’s exactly the race you want to see on the big stage.
OMG, they were flying. I couldn’t believe they kept up that pace.
I was so happy that the Norwegian got out foxed by the two Americans and knocked from the podium. He was so fixated on Kerr that he forgot there were other competitors in the race and paid the price.
Me too. He seems like an ass
Thirded. I don’t mind arrogance. I actually think you have to be at least a little arrogant to be a world class athlete. But there was some serious assholishness to that dude.
And how serious can you talk shit with highlights in your hair?
He had a very punchable face for sure
Agree with all these takes about that Norwegian dude. Instantly hated him and loved he got shut out.
If nothing else, Ingebrigsten makes for a great villain. We will see how he does in the 5000 final on Saturday.
Penalty shots is such an unsatisfying way to determine a winner.
Another reason basketball is the best sport.
Why are we not playing Kevin Durant?
He is horrendous at hard hedging. Duh
Not sure what is stranger seeing Team USA down and struggling or seeing the players actually fired up and emotional.
Quincy Hall is amazing. Win the 400 while looking like a maniac. Then get interviewed by Tirico as to your interests, to which Hall replied, “Fish, relax, and ride horses.”
Awesome.
As an American I feel like I’m watching every UVA NCAA Tournament game ever.
- Other team draining every 3
- Offense is out of shorts and panicky. Relying on one guy to take over offensively.
Definitely a LeBronze-led team. MJ wouldn’t have let this happen with a Dream Team.
