It’s a really high bar to get your number retired when you go back and look at the career accolades of the names up there. I expect Guy’s will be retired when he graduates. Jerome and Hunter would be interesting test cases if they finish their degrees, how much weight does the national title carry.

Brutal, I didn’t realize he was sick.
Got a chance to meet him once in 05 or 06 he was in the twilight of his career playing for the Rockets filling in for an injured Yao. Stopped by when I was with Big John. Seeing the way he looked up to Big John and how Big John beamed with pride talking about Dikembe and all his off the court acomplishments was pretty awesome.
