Since January of this year, Mamadi has been on the Spurs, Knicks, Nets, Grizz and now Suns. Though he’s only played in NBA games for the Knicks and Spurs.

Mamadi was traded from the Nets to the Grizz, then released. He’ll still be paid over $1M this season from that contract though.

It came from the GM / basketball operations head (Koby Altman), so I don’t think it was mean spirited. Maybe a bit of a wink, but acknowledging he’s healthy and playing well.
