Right? For west coasters that’s a 1pm start. I don’t get it

That’s insane. Sometimes it feels like the NBA attempts to mimic the NFL and then fails miserably due to a half assed effort.

So now Mikal Bridges is on the knicks, too? If Dunn wants to get drafted by Thibs, he’s gonna have to portal first, I guess

This feels very expensive for Bridges:

But could turn out beautifully for Mamadi:

Dunn won’t be available for the Knicks at 24 anyways

6 picks for a guy who never made an all star team.

Not sure how the Northern Wildcats will fare in NYC

They overpaid, but I kind of get it.

Guys like Brunson & Randle are in their prime, and they just saw Boston run through the East and win it all with a young core. Adding a guy like Bridges narrows the gap a bit, and I’m sure the Knicks are banking that those picks will be in the mid-late 20’s, which are usually a crap shoot anyway.

NYK were pretty flush with picks, so they probably had some room to overpay.

That makes sense, and I think the Bridges move was a direct response to what Boston did by deploying an army of wings and scrappy defensive guards. I don’t know that it will work, the Knicks run reminds me of the Hawks run in 21?!?1 they have some good pieces but not sure they are all the right pieces to consistently play at that level and now they are trying to microwave cook a championship caliber team.

Knicks are all-in right now. Windows like this don’t last long in the NBA. They stockpiled draft picks in previous trades, and know they’re cashing them in. They couldn’t care less right now about 2028 or 2031. They’re focused on winning 2025.

Think they also need Bridges defense on Brown/Tatum. feels like they understand Celtics are the threat in the east now and are making moves with that in mind.

Hey look it’s that thing we’ve been using for like 15 years that our fanbase shits on for some reason.

Maybe if we played at Kentucky pace it would actually work?
Is it a coincidence that our 2 best shooters last 15 years only played a year at UVA and were already great shooters?

Yes it’s probably coincidental

Hmmm you don’t know what the reason is???

I assume you mean Trey and Hauser? Or iMac? Well let’s not forget Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome but they were already shooters as well.

I’ll give you Hauser, but who are you referring to for #2? None of Guy, iMac, Hunter nor Perrantes played just one year at UVA and it pretty much has to be one of them.

TM3 maybe has an argument for 6th but I’d put him behind Jerome because of UVA career value. I mean, stats at Rice don’t really compare to stats in the ACC, right?

At UVA Trey was a 50/43/93 guy and Hauser 50/42/89.6
No one else in UVA history shot as well from all three spots as those two guys in a season

In fact I think they are the only 2 in Acc history to do it
