Exactly its not talked about or looked down on when it happens to a male but it is still vvery wrong amd comcerning. And can cause serious damage even if it began at 16 or 17

Ignore me. I watch too much South Park and couldnât resist.
Without checking, is a NBA two way contract above or below minimum wage in the Bay Area?

She went to his high school prom after she had finished undergrad. Sheâs put that out on social media herself. No spinning that as anything other than a creepy situation
Itâs on now. A real journalist is on the case.

These dudes are getting no guidance in Durham. Do I need to play him meet the grahams?
The swapping of draft rights for international guys who will never ever come over is always amusing to me, but this is next level:
Heâs been retired for 2 years and will be coaching on the Spursâ Summer League team!
WTF how did they get the draft rights to a guy who was drafted nearly 20 years ago and is retired? Some account/lawyer explain this witchcraft to me
You canât make a trade for nothing, so you have to have value on the other side, even if it is the rights to a guy drafted 20 years ago that never signed. Here though, the Mavs are already giving up other stuff so why did the Knicks want these draft rights too?
HmmâŚunless they need to use it for the Bridges trade so theyâre not hard capped at the 1st apron.
Or alternately, Dallas moved up 7 spots in the same draft and the cash they sent wasnât enough to justify the 7 spots that they had to throw something else in there and it was either this or a future top 55 protected 2nd round pick.
Back when he was drafted, there were comparisons to OG. His ceiling now is probably a much less durable OG who canât defend as well as he used to due to the knee injuries.
Problem is heâs only like 6 months younger than OG. The NBAâs an unforgiving place where former top 5 picks on 2nd contracts are considered reclamation projects by age 26 and might struggle to get another contract above the MLE.
Reece Warriors chatter at the 10:50 mark
Part of the answer seems to be that the Knicks front office has an idiosyncratic fondness for stacking up draft rights:
This article says that have draft rights to 11 overseas guys, including another 2007 draftee:
This is like a great premise for a madcap and/or feel good comedy movie. âThe Knicks were just stacking draft rights. But then 50 year old Petteri Koponen called their bluff. Hilarity ensues in the new comedy from the makers of âRookie of the Yearâ ⌠âPetteri takes Manhattan.â
Thereâs a UVA connection here too. The Sixers traded Koponenâs rights to the Blazers in 2011 for Derrick Byars.
Yep thatâs a comp for sure but take away my UVa allegiance and Iâd take OG right now over Dre.
The injuries have taken so much away from Dre in regards to his mobility on the defensive end and honestly his offense never developed into a consistent threat.
You nailed it on what Dre could be facing by his 3rd contract and being the nice to have MLE at 26/27
Oh everyone would take OG over Dre. Iâm not remotely making that case. I mean in a trade the Raptors got a pretty good player and a decent rotation player for OG. The Hawks would probably have to attach a 2nd rounder or 2 to move Hunter.
Yeah I feel like he was starting to get things going in the 2020-21 season but then had that knee injury. Also, one things thatâs been very surprising to me is that the various impact metrics have consistently had him as a better offensive than defensive player. Just kinda not what I expected.
This is a terrible way to gauge things, but as a fantasy basketball player, one thing that always sticks out when evaluating Dre is he just doesnât do much other than periodically score in bunches. Donât think he is particularly notable in any other stat - rebounds, steals, blocks, etc. He just doesnât seem to do much of the âother stuffâ, or at least it doesnât show up statistically.
