I’m just amazed that a country the size of Maryland with a population about even with Ohio has an entire pro basketball league (not to mention a pro soccer league and a national soccer team that handily beat the US national team).

If the USA had a culture where every child’s first sports exposure and first evaluation was soccer… then there would be no chance Belgium would ever beat us. Can you imagine some of these freak football, baseball, basketball and hockey guys playing soccer from a young age?

That’s the name of the French top basketball league. Your favorite player is on Strasbourg.
Strasbourg is an amazing French city with a HUGE Christmas market. There is a Notre Dame Cathedral there too near this canal system called Petit France.
