Brief detour: I think that 2016-17 team was good, but the ACC was deep that season (11 teams in Torvik’s top 50 rankings), so their conference record looked not so good relative to the years before.
For those wings, based on their performances, I have a hard time making a strong case for any of them to have gotten way more or less minutes. Maybe some of Devon’s minutes should have gone to Darius, but I think Devon was decently ahead of Marial and Darius as a wing defender, at least 1-on-1.
It all kinda worked out for all three of them, I suppose.
