They are currently sitting 4thā¦ only two points off of 1st. Champion is automatically promoted, while 2 - 9 go into playoffs to get the second promotion spot. First round of playoffs is best of 5 games, then semi-final and final are knock-out rounds.
Real Madrid is in Liga ACBā¦ so not rivals this year.
