Hoos vs. Bonnies thread

Armaan on one ankle in the second half over Kody. Good grief.

Even that wasn’t true though lol fans could fall for it but a D1 staff shouldn’t have

I don’t even want to hear the halftime comments.

I really do feel for Kody. His heart issues complicated his career and he helped contribute in practice to our national title team.

But man (again it’s on the staff) when you choose not to use 3 scholarships knowing what you have, of course you are going to make fans get frustrated at players like Kody.

Come on man. I understand your frustration, but this is ugly. He’s not coming back. We are only down 4, or a uva-adjusted 45. We got this.

That was a truly pathetic half of basketball. At home, post season, a good crowd, and you score 17 points? Just… it’s getting ridiculous.

That said, it’s a close game and we can easily still win this thing. But I hope Tony tears into them in the locker room.

KC disappearing, absolutely a non factor in a game like this is why I’d rather he not return. Has he made some bugs shots last two years, yep, but he’s not a big game player.

I am so thankful for this fact. Thank you for reminding me

Tony makes everybody soak in an ice bath as he reads them a few articles from the New England journal of medicine

Oh, agree. Just joking. He hit a few shots when Zion wasn’t guarding

I really feel for Kihei. Kid was meant to be a role player in his career but beacuse of so many recruiting and roster failures, he’s had to carry a load he’s nowhere close to being equipped to do. Just an absolutely awful fit with this current roster and we’re about to see it play out the same way next year

Kody 0-5, KC 0-4, rest of team 7-16. Kadin with no shot attempts.

I blame HGN for my foul mood. I can watch this roster clank brink after brick knowing that hey, at least Kody and Kihei will move on and we’ll be able to add better pieces in the transfer market + see some first years play bigger roles next year. NOPE – had to tell us Kihei was likely coming back and now I’m ready to throw my remote through the TV knowing this will be the exact same offense we see next year! Woohoo!!!

When one is in doubt. One must look towards the light. The light, in fact, is Reece Beekman.

NIT tix update - I have the Ticketmaster link open as a tab, but will not be buying yet, after watching that half. Stay away from 116, row 11. Those are mine

I’m sorry in advance for whatever inventible garbage you will have to deal with from TicketMaster

Also, one other thing. We have sort of glossed over the fact that Caffaro has regressed considerably over the second half of the year. I’m way down on the two-headed monster at center from where I was a few weeks ago.

Caffaro can’t be in the rotation next year if we are legitimately trying to win

We had 11 points at 14:13. 6 the rest of the way.

Kadin won’t shoot. Has no confidence in his abilities it’s honestly tough to watch. He’s thinking a mile a minute out there. Doesn’t help he has bricks for hands.

Was hoping the game would have slowed down for him by now but it’s actually gotten faster. He’s not the same player we saw against Duke
