I would love RD to stay, and agree he has areas to develop. But what’s the argument for developing those areas in college, rather than as a pro? If he’s confident he’ll go in, say, the top 20 of the draft this year, is an extra year of college really going to lift him much higher than that?

“Test the market” is a concern. Obviously he needs to do what’s best for himself long term, but I hope it’s a situation where if he does declare, we know he’s gone. Would make portal recruiting much tougher if he’s 50/50 about returning or staying in the draft.

You know and I know whats gonna happen. He will go to the NBA. I will say its a mistake. He will start raining NBA 3s at 40% clip and never miss a FT a game

Well I don’t have a crystal ball, but we lost 3 last year, 2 the year before that, and 3 before that. I’d say there’s a chance a couple guys move on depending on what the staff tells them in the end of year discussions, and what Bliss has looked like in practice.

This is kind of where I’ve been for the last couple of weeks.
He’s a year older than his classmates (I think) and dominating decent competition. Why RS him?

I watched some out of curiosity of how he got to 22 rebounds. Collegiate didn’t look like the biggest team, so he was able to sneak in for a bunch of offensive rebounds; he does look fairly strong for his size and can get up. I like that he initiates body contact on his drives to get space for his layups and his handle seems really solid, even in tight spaces.
Side note: AWilly looks like he has the foundation to be a nice defensive wing, but he needs to find a reliable source of half-court offense to be more than that.

Checked Collegiate’s roster and they have a 6’6, a 6’4, several 6’2-3’s. Not exactly a college sized lineup, but enough to be impressed with over 20 boards.

Bliss running the offense with Gertrude, Mallory, and Sharma running off screens is going to be something special.
In no world should Bliss and Gertrude be running off screens LOL. I think with Bliss Mallory Gertrude and more seasoned front court we will see the new offensive sets theyve been wanting to transition to.

Yeah you’re right. I was specifically thinking of Mallory(Carsen Edwards), and Sharma(Hunter Catoor) coming off of screens for 3’s.
Yeah going more towards the modern “euro” offense that recruits have talked about would be a dream.
