Why wouldn’t he go to K State in that case? Not as local but still regional and Tang looks better positioned moving forward than Gates

Someone in another thread mentioned that they would start to get concerned about Mallory closer to mid-May and if we began reaching out to other guards.
Is that what we are seeing here?
Seems more likely there’s a possibility we could take 2, and we are betting on either Mallory or Adrien Stevens going elsewhere.

I dunno, I think it makes sense to keep your connections as live as you can until you know you have someone for that spot, especially in a more fluid late player movement environment. I’m also assuming these guys would need spring evals before being seriously recruited; I also assume the Witherspoon visit was a little opportunistic in terms of having a guy nearby with a weekend free.
