It’s less one person not being able to shoot and just having 3 shooters on the floor which we haven’t had.
It’s been discussed ad nauseum in the VIP threads but your probably looking at a Trent Perry, Isaac Mckneely, Jalen Warley, Saunders or the UCLA kid, Buchanan starting 5. so it’s fine I guess. More 3pt shooting there than in all of our lineups since the natty, even with Warley on board.

Seems like more athletic, better creator, better defender than Rohde. Can’t shoot but neither can Rohde so it’s still an upgrade. It definitely puts pressure on Perry and other guards to be able to make shots or else we’re going to get smothered by any defense with a pulse.

Add Warley and Trent this weekend and all of a sudden there’s pressure on guys like Dell’Orso and Saunders to take the 12th 'ship before it’s too late.
Also, Tony waiting until May to recruit over guys, where now it’s too late for them to transfer, is playing chess instead of checkers.

Yeah Perry and IMac need to make shots but takes defensive pressure off them. Really need a stretch 4 now.

Like Andrew Rohde? He’s the one who loses the most potential time because of this.
I’ll never say a long athlete with ball skills won’t move the needle.

In that case, I’d say Warley is taking minute from Bliss and Gertrude, two guys I’d really rather play over him.
With Perry, IMac, Bliss, Gertrude, Taine, Rohde, Sharma, I’d want minutes something like:
iMac: 32
Perry/Bliss: 40 (exact split depends on who’s better)
Gertrude: 24
Taine: 20
Rohde/Sharma: 4
With Warley getting, let’s say 20 minutes, that could put downward pressure on some young guys minutes. Or it could take all of Taines, and frankly I’d rather Taine get the minutes since he’s a Hoos lifer and can shoot.

this is a good get, I know he can’t shoot but Warley has a complementary skill set to most of our other guards

Prob need to factor in some minutes at the 3 for whatever transfer combo forward they get.
Man I wish Dunn were still here. He’d be perfect for that.
