⛹️‍♂️ Jalen Warley - Official Thread

lol I know I was just trying to find the tweet he may have been referencing and this was the only thing I could track down. Since I like Dell’Orso and this tweet fits my narrative, I posted

Yeah, but it’s gray, 56, gonna rain here, and the girls are in fleeces. I’m right nearby. The boats are cool, but hopefully it’s a real Spring in Charlottesville tomorrow with sundresses roaming around…

Ha ha - Opening Day of boating season is a good day in Seattle, but I’m not sure what “diverse” activity you mean, unless getting hammered on boats is more diverse than getting hammered at Foxfield!

Well, clearly I misread the stats. That changes the whole take. Thanks for the correction. Now I’m less excited than I was before, which was rather tempered.

I’ll be more excited for him if we land the right other pieces.

If ur in to that sort of thing

Tiller ain’t looking at us… last update I saw…he said UVA was a school he “might” potentially visit… he was thankful for the offer but… I would put him in the category of “don’t waste our time other than saying hi at an AAU tournament or complimenting him on his game…

I know I’m late to the conversation, but I agree with this 100%.

It’s a free country. People can bitch and moan even if they don’t add to the conversation. And then other people are free to make fun of them. Everyone gets to say what they want, and everyone is happy. Win win.

Yeah I know, he’s a pipe dream. Would love to have him but not getting my hopes up there.

Think we have a better shot at Ament but still probably not great. The idea of Dook being able to swoop in and take him at any time makes me lessen my excitement.

How was he going to get rebounds? Everybody else on his team is 6 inches taller.

2018 was the last time the height stats for both guard positions were positive on Kenpom.

2016 was the best year for big guards, though, with Virginia being basically 2" taller at both guard positions on the KenPom height stat. Perrantes was the shortest guard on the team, listed at 6’2". The other guards were all listed at either 6’4" or 6’5".

Reece. 6’3" with a 6’7" wingspan is plus size at the position in college. Average NBA PG height is ~6’2".

Until we sign Dai Dai.

But as of now zero undersized dudes at the 1-3 spots.
Shooters: Taine, IMac and Sharma - all with good positional size.
Ball Handlers: Bliss, Rohde, Warley, Gertrude - all with plus plus size while at the 1.
Keep it at IMac and Eli - mostly at the 2 - positional size and athleticism.
At the 3rd guard - can go Rohde at 6-6, Warley at 6-7, Power at 6-9… or even Gertrude at 6-4 with a 44 inch vertical…
And then really good front court size as well with Saunders the shortest guy???

I love it the packline works better and is more difficult to score against when it got lengh, we dont have to worry about players shooting over 5’9 to 6’0 players
