We know that the media blowjobs, news articles, positions of authority that were provided to those affiliated with that school were very much ill-gotten and undeserved.

Iâve mentioned this before, but my dad was a pretty serious athlete while growing up in Southern California in football and baseball (he played in a LA HS all-star game against Bobby Bonds). And he had stories about kids on HS football team in the late '50s and early '60s having jobs at local stores they werenât expected to show up for. And it was just a given something similar would happen in college.
The point being, its been a thing for a really, really long time.
