Can I just say I miss Adrian Braugher? I heard they were debating whether to reboot Brooklyn 99ā¦ but have nixed it because the remaining cast has said the show would never work without Adrian.

Iām with you always liked him as an actor, but he knocked that role out the park. You cant do the 99 without Captain Holt. It just doesnāt work.

Shortly before Brooklyn 99 I saw him in some quickly-canceled show (forget the name) where he played an intense, half-mad submarine captain, and around the same time I watched a drama with Ray Romano (āMen of a Certain Ageā) where he played a sad sack middle-aged guy. Doubt many people saw either show, but he crushed both roles ā guy had range. Still, I know I wasnāt alone in thinking: āAndre Braugher is doing a sitcom, what the hell?ā And then he crushed that too.
Show doesnāt work without him. Samberg and the others were good but didnāt have the presence to carry it on their own.

Highly underrated show. He was great in it.
His shift to comedy in 99 was a surprise and a level I didnāt know he had.

Last Resort was a terrible show. I also watched every episode because Braugher was that f***ing good.
Iāve been doing a slow, sporadic rewatch of Homicide and, man, he was amazing.
Itās a shame that the film industry had no idea what to do with him because he shouldāve been a huge movie star.
