Malcolm Brogdon Out With Sore Back

Played the first 9 minutes before going into the locker room. Originally Pacers said was questionable to return, before declaring him out at halftime. Said it was a sore lower back. Not great news, Pacers have been ravaged by injuries early in the year but are still 7-4 (likely 7-5 by end of the night).

Lol, crazy part is that it could be because of the increased number of minutes he’s played this year. Don’t know a ton about back spasms, but the way they’re describing them it sounds like an injury stemming from fatigue/overuse. Shouldn’t be out for longer than 2 weeks, that’s a maximum really, could even be back Monday vs the Nets. Hope they hold him out for the game against the Bucks tomorrow, needs to rest it imo.

Think is exactly that. Playing more minutes and more “stress” of being the leader and affecting the outcome of the game. Back spasms can go away as fast as they come however. Some rest and treatment he will be good to go

Out for tonight’s game with the Bucks. Bummer he won’t get to matchup against the team that traded him… Pacers play Monday, and then not till next Saturday so I’d predict he misses Monday and gets that week to rest before returning against Orlando.
