Good interview. With regard to coaches pushing the league, I think Ovies is putting a bit too much on Characters. Characters are great but first and foremost they need to win. Not every coach has to be a Character, if Forbes, Pastner, Capel were all winning youād have a great cast. Not every coach in the SEC is a Character but Oats, Muss, Pearl and Cal are great for their league because they are winning or have a long history of winning. That said they are all kind of heels in that professional wrestling kind of way. The ACC needs some of that, but winning is what really elevates it to where the mass audience cares. Then your characters can elevate the rivalries.
