Have TCU in a draft. But need Ohio St to win since I think Winner beats Duke. Don’t need Jamie Dixon rethinking retirement or Punch’s price going up
For those at work
Nebraska looks like a mid major.
Also have Nebraska in my draft cause the person before me took Vandy ![]()
Didn’t make a bracket this year cause I always do terribly and don’t want to lose money. @Hooandtrue final 4: UVA St Johns Arkansas Houston
Drafts are fun. Forgot about those.
Had to meet with a tech founder today. Asked him if he was going to be enjoying March Madness and he told me he didn’t get a chance to buy a square in his friends pool.
Is that really a thing? Didn’t want to press him and embarrass him.
How does buying a square work in March Madness? You just get assigned a random team? That doesn’t sound fun.
(For a couple years I ran a Wimbledon pool where each entrant was assigned a few random players. It worked there because most entrants didn’t know who was good anyway, or even who most players were. Not so much with March Madness.)
Every year I’m reminded that I don’t know ball. I didn’t even consider the possibility that TCU would beat OSU and here they are up by 15 at the half.
Fighting Dixons are shooting OSU off the court.
So what exactly do “predictive analytics” predict? Dead ass wrong about Miami (OH), dead ass wrong about TCU/OSU.
KenPom gave Miami Ohio a 26% chance to win, and TCU a 39% chance. Based on three halves of play, pretty clear that predictive metrics are dead ass worthless.
Those metrics for SMU included BJ Edwards who didn’t play, fwiw.
Jamie Dixon bears a striking relevance to Mr. Burns from the Simpsons. Couple that with Todd Golden looking like Eddie Munster and Rick Pitino pulling a Pacino, and we are all set.

As always, anyone who thinks the predictives are worthless should be getting very wealthy sports betting since virtually all of the opening lines are set by predictice models.
I’ve got a 15 game parlay - all unders - for today. Must have missed clicking one.
I’m at even money on the cash out option so far…
What’s the site where you can watch a ton of TV channels? I think HGN posted it before and I used it this season to watch a game or 2
Sorry should’ve read the thread
