Also man I was so wrong about Akbar Waheed. I think I said at one point āheās probably better than Dixonā lol. This kid is a poor manās Andrew Rohde (at least Rohde popped off during EYBL. Waheed canāt really shoot or get separation on anyone)

Might overlap a little with Cofie but hell we took Dai Dai with Bliss so F it. Kid is a beast, from the 757 (but at IMG) and I noticed he follows UVA basketball on Instagram.
And not only is he athletic but heās 8-16 from 3. Heās literally a better 3pt shooter than most of the guards on our damn roster. Heās one of the spring risers in aau so far.

Heās 6-5/6-6 but plays more like a 3/4. Itās weird cause his game is nothing like Leon Bondās and also completely different body types but at the same time sorta the same category.

Lol, I thought I heard that before about Keith not being a good shooter . He was on fire today and thatās why I said that.
Not sure how much range he has. Only has taken 11 3s in 9 games this spring. But heās pretty effective inside the arc. It was rough going vs Expressions, they had a lot of length to throw at him and kept the paint pretty crowded. But heās shot a high percentage in his other games.
I was at Southern Jam Fest in Hampton earlier today, watching a kid play who I taught last year (now goes to IMG Academy). Paid $$$ to get in, so I wondered who else I should stay & watch. But it was overwhelming with 4 games going at once, and my son was hungry. So we watched the one game & left. (Hoped for a TB sighting, but no luck)

If Gertrude is not injured, then the staff likely passes on DD. Really messed with the recruiting plan. But, as HGN points out, there is PT for the right guy - which still may be Acaden.
