I watched the last couple holes of the last 3 matches…match play is kinda exciting when every match is tight like it was today. 16 was brutal on both teams, looked impossible to hit the green. It was the decisive hole in the last match, the UNC guy ended up down a hill and practically in a creek and went 1DN there.

Look, bro, with all due respect to picking up heavy things, hitting a small stationary ball with a misshapen stick is not an easy task.
Quantum physics are difficult but I still whip my Rocket Scientist brother-in-law at every athletic venture.
I actually enjoy golf and look forward to playing more when I retire. It’s a great skill to master.

How impressive was the Hoos’ Acc title???
Women’s Golf with a bit of a struggle on Day 1 of the Charlottesville regional.
Team finished at +2 - 5 players play each round and top 4 scores count - currently 9 strokes behind the leader South Carolina after Day 1.
Top 5 teams advance to Nationals after 3 days - 54 holes of play.
Lady Hoos with a solid third day in the regionals moving from 5th up to tie for 3rd and they advance to The national championships starting on May 16!!!
By the way that’s 4 straight years they have gotten there - Final 30 teams in the nation get there.
Hoos angling for a top 5 finish in Reno to advance….

Update - Hoos ties for 2nd with 3 holes to go - looking good to advance - they will need a much stronger showing from their 4th and 5th guys at Nationals to have a chance.
