Opponents are 34% from behind the arc so far, which is slightly above the D1 avg of 33.3%. Last two seasons have been similar, hovering around 34% which has also been the D1 average. Before then, opponents routinely shot well below the D1 average, the national championship year being one of the best examples of this.

I see us coming out flat, them riding the crowd for a while. Defense will kick in and shots will start falling. Down 3-4 at half. +8 2nd half. Hoos win a grind. Think Armaan, Jayden and Kihei have good games.

Waiting for the McKneely break out game against legit competition.

At some point teams will adjust to guarding Armaan hard and trying to contain Gardner, hopefully that means 6 or 7 3 point attempts for IMac.

Length deters shooters - we haven’t had athletic length across the board for a while… since 2020 …
Or really since 2019 when 5 of our best 6 were on the floor.
