I’m currently eating my lefovers from Ghengis Grill… i had high hopes when my son asked to go a few days ago… but it is very mid.

I can’t think of a good fast food Asian place… they are all meh.

The only good part about Ghengis Grill is tou can get a ton of protein. But I always thought it was pretty average. Their was one by the gym I trained at years ago and We’d hit it up post workout, until a Cava opened up.

I love Cava. There was one 3 blocks from my condo in Alexandria. I’d go once a week at least. We have one near us now but I don’t go that much.

Cava ruined me for Chipolfor several years.

Cava is the GOAT bowl place. Not close.

The fiery broccoli they’ve had recently is my shit.

You been to Mezeh? Better than Cava IMO.

Edit: Cava does get extra points for me bc that’s where I ran into Taine and not to brag, but broke the ā€œTaine is backā€ news.

@jazznutUVA brought up kicking a few weeks ago and the evolution of the end over end kick. In the Rugby 6 Nations (essentially the Europen Championship) there’s been a resurgence of the spiral kick and somewhere @CavTex is smiling

Ronda and the White Villages must be stunning. That restaurant looks like a great spot, where is it? I’ll be heading to Barcelona with my husband next month and looking for things to do or places worth visiting. I came across this guide and found it really helpful https://gowithguide.com/blog/romantic-fun-things-to-do-in-barcelona-for-couples-5811 Any must-try food or destinations you’d recommend adding to our itinerary?

Tickets was my absolute favorite there. Oh shoot, it closed in 2021?

I’ll have to check my travel spreadsheet, but I last went 8 years ago, so it’s probably out of date. I absolutely loved Barcelona though. Hopefully you’re up for eating dinner at 10 or 11 at night though.

Oh, my wife and I went there on our honeymoon and we took the kids several years later, but at this point its kind of blur. All of the Gaudi stuff is worth visiting, especially now that Sagrada Familia is ā€œdoneā€. The lines for it will huge, but what used to be a lot more accessible was Park Guell (which is just a cool, really interestingly designed park. I recall it being hot and having surprisingly little shade, but that shouldn’t be as much of an issue in March) and the hotel. Don’t stay at the hotel, I’m sure its overpriced, but iirc, the hotel had a tour up in like the attic and maybe on the roof about Gaudi’s history which was fun and worthwhile.

Also, there may not be time, but spending a night at a BnB a little north of Barcelona along the Costa Brava is great. Scenery is stunning and there used to be a ton of reasonably priced hotels and restaurants along the coast. The beaches were terrible (basically gravel instead of sand) but in March that’s less of an issue.

Sagrada Familia is worth the wait imo. Went this past summer, echo the Gaudi stuff being awesome. Park Guell is great.
