There’s no right or wrong answer. ![]()
The only people I can think of who we’re rooting against UVa are James Madison fans.
Virginia Tech may not want us to win in men’s basketball,![]()

but they probably love playing against us in football.
The old fashion way
This is the shit we have to deal with. This guy is the president of the U.S. Basketball Writers Association and he refuses to watch us.
So hopefully he’ll have seven chances to watch ISU players park cars.

It’s fine, let 'em argue. I much prefer this funny take on the situation:
Despite his desire to watch guys park cars, Quinn included CTB in his Michigan coaching candidates list.
Gotta say, I’ve been thinking back to the preseason when our predictions for this team ranged from Final Four contender to missing the NIT. Turned out to be just about right in the middle of the two extremes.
I hated the way we got here at the end, but super proud of this team and so happy for them. Agree with the sentiment that we’re playing with house money. No pressure. Go HOOS!!
Oh, and yes, @Simbaud 82-83 was my first year so I remember that very well. Thanks for the memories…
LMAO Williford’s likes on Twitter are funny. (past the UVA celebrations)
He put himself on bulletin board material-collection duty, which I strongly support.
re: JMU - with 30+ wins
Too bad Crean is an ass… messenger ruins the message
Thoughts on the snubbed teams snubbing the NIT? The extra practice and games can’t but help the program, so seems like a bit nose cutting to spite faces.
Kempot gives the 1-seeds a 1.8, 1.8, 1.9, and 3.8 percent chance of losing to a 16. Houston got the unlucky draw with Longwood.
That works out to a ~9% chance of a 16-1 upset.
HanePom give Painter a 51% chance of not embarrassing the Haney family yet again
The mis-management of our last game left a sour taste in my mouth. I’ll be at peace if we lose the first round, as long as we go down with all flags flying.
